Social CommunicationConnecting, chatting and friendships
Connecting, interacting and building relationships with others, in ways that respect who your child is.
Does this sound like your child?
Every child is different. These are some of the reasons families get in touch. Tick any that sound familiar.
That's worth a chat. You don't need to be sure. Tell us a little about your child and we'll help you work out the next step.

Questions families ask
What is social communication?
Social communication is how we use gestures, language, facial expressions and unspoken social rules to interact with others. It includes understanding social cues, taking turns in conversation, reading emotions and building connections with peers.
Do you support autistic children and teens?
Yes. We support people with a wide range of communication profiles, always using approaches that respect their strengths, preferences and communication styles.
