StutteringSupport for stuttering and fluency

Supporting smoother, more confident talking across settings, with no pressure and no rush.

Does this sound like your child?

Every child is different. These are some of the reasons families get in touch. Tick any that sound familiar.

How we help

  • Pressure-free. Sessions respond to your child's interests and communication style.
  • Feelings count. We explore how your child feels about talking, not only how it flows.
  • Part of everyday life. Strategies that fit naturally into everyday routines at home and at school.

Sessions are usually 45 minutes, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on what your child needs. In clinic, at home, kinder, school or online. NDIS, Medicare and private. About funding

Questions families ask

What is stuttering?

Fluency is the smooth, natural flow of speech. Stuttering can include repeated sounds or syllables (b-b-ball), stretched sounds (sssssalt), and blocks, where a word feels stuck and doesn't come out straight away. It often changes depending on the day, the listener or the setting.

Do you work with teenagers who stutter?

Yes. We support young people up to age 19, and teens lead their own goals.

Is stuttering therapy covered by Medicare?

The Medicare M10 changes (from March 2026) expanded rebates for some children and young people under 25 who stutter. Talk to your GP and to us about eligibility, or read our funding guide.
